Klockr stores your data only in your browser. Nothing is sent to servers.
Summary
Klockr is a local-first application. All the data you create — clients, time entries, invoices and settings — is stored exclusively in your browser storage (IndexedDB), on your own device. We operate no servers that receive, process or store this data.
What we collect
Anonymous, aggregate usage statistics — and nothing else. We use Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, no personal identification) only to count visits and how many people open the app, so we know how many active users we have. Your working data (clients, hours, invoices) is never collected and never leaves your browser. There is no sign-up, no login, no third-party tracking cookies and no selling of data.
Your backup responsibility
Because the data is local, it can be lost if you clear your browser, use a private window or switch devices. We recommend exporting backups (JSON) regularly under Settings → Data. The backup is the only way to move your data between machines in this version.
Logo and invoice data
Any logo you upload is converted to text (a data URL) and stored alongside your settings in your browser. It is never uploaded to any server.
Hosting
The hosting server only delivers the application files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). It may log standard technical access data (such as IP address) per the hosting provider policy, but it receives none of your Klockr working data.
GDPR / LGPD
Since we do not collect or process personal data on servers, you remain the sole controller of your data. For full control, simply export or delete your data at any time inside the app.
